St Ann’s Catholic School… as seen by a failed student.

By John McElligott

Recently, after talking to the principal and staff members of St Ann’s, I decided I had better warn you all that I was not one of their famous students.

There are many who were, and still are famous. But not me.

When I called the office today, they said they had never heard of me or Joe O’Neil, Harry Miller, Don Tomlin, Paula Duease or John Franklin. So my next step is to talk to the Superintendent. When I told them that Harry and I were expelled in the 5th grade, she laughed. She suggested that since Harry and I eventually became doctors, he and I should come back and give a talk to the students. So, stay tuned as we learn how we became real people and why the water may have been a factor. More to come.
