Interesting and perfectly said. Melba, I recall you as a very nice girl, but one whom I didn’t know well. Public high school in Texas is likely a “mixed bag” for most folks. I, too, am remarried (almost 28 years now), happy, blessed. We have five adult married children and fourteen grandchildren, six of whom are in college right now. Midland, Texas gave me a great beginning.

Hi Melba, I am Carol Covington Allbritton. Class of 1961. I remember you well. Always nicely dressed. I, too, live in Austin, after living in Houston for 40 years. I am widowed, but I have a nice companion.
