Winter of Life

Written by John McElligott

December 21, 2020 marked the beginning of the Winter Solstice. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is the first day of winter.

It’s time to start thinking how I go about beginning the winter of my life. My winter began September 17, 2020. Currently, I live in Knoxville, TN with my wife and 2 wonderful dogs. I have 23 employees who are part of my family as well.

I have one employee who has been with me for 20 years, and is now an owner. When Lisa and I are gone and floating on a cloud (hopefully with dogs), several of the employees will own most of the company according to my last business agreement. Their job will be to continue to do what I do best… helping people whenever I can.

Really cute animals…kinda grow on you…part of the family kind of love. And love the rug…we have one that has the exact same colors and patterns! Till we meet “Up Yonder.”. Have a continued great life and legacy.
