Actually, Max, Tom had his “Doc” wig from “Back To The Future” on, and I had my Grandfather’s hairpiece he wore in the 40’s, but I had it on backwards so it has a little more hair in the front than normal…and it was hot too.

Well this is the first time I have seen Mike since he was a cheerleader at MHS. Mike is the funniest writer the blog has and was elected by all who read his stories. Wish I could same the same about my brother Tom. Tom is full of stories but can’t put them in writing. Tom and Don Hammock, Don’s daughter, are meeting me, my wife, my son Kim and his wife Sandy the end of June in Nashville. So Mike I will be in Midland the end of August/September for an Odessa College ceremony. So lets see if we can get together for lunch/dinner while I am there. I will get you the final dates.

You can count on us getting together while you are in West Texas. BTW, I know we drove Tom’s significant other (Pam) crazy with our story telling during this most recent visit! She is one sweet lady!
Since Tom’s RV campground was close to the lake, we went on a short tour of the back roads of the lake and were very fortunate to have five white tail doe come within about ten feet of our car as we crept slowly along the road. Smiles in both seats!
Had a libation or two with some Mexican cuisine and then a short visit at my house where my well worn Catoicas were scanned to reveal tons of stories that the subject former students would.surely be red faced had they been there.
Wow! That was a great time spent unwinding the clock. You just have to love being able to do this. It’s mighty easy to love long-time friends too!
Looking forward to us getting together in Odessa. Maybe we can talk Tom and Pam into joining us.
